Phakic Intraocular Lens Treatment
Myopia is a treatment method applied to people who do not have sufficient corneal tissue for laser treatment for hyperopia and astigmatism eye problems or whose glasses degrees are above the laser correction limits.
How is Intraocular Contact Lens Treatment Performed?
The eye is anesthetized with drop anesthesia.
The eye is applied under a microscope. A gelatin consistency lens is injected right behind the baby. No tissue or part of the eye is removed.
The natural lens inside the eye is not removed. This lens is injected only into the front part of the eye.
During the surgery, the natural lens of the eye is protected and the artificial lens is placed so that it does not touch it.
The procedure is completed in 8-10 minutes and applied to the other eye every two days. .

Advantages of Intraocular Contact Lens
This lens, which is placed inside the eye, can be removed at the request of the patient.
Since the corneal structure is not touched, it protects the structure.
The lens placed inside the eye is transparent and can remain in the eye for a lifetime, compatible with the eye tissue.
These lenses placed in the eye are not visible when viewed from the outside and the presence of the lens in the eye is not felt by the patient.
Intraocular contact lens treatment has been performed for 14 years, primarily in the USA, but also in all countries in Europe and Asia.
